Postnatal Services:

In the early days after a baby is born, women should have plenty of help and support to enable them to "find their feet", rest and recover from the birth and to avoid the all too common feeling that they must shoulder the huge responsibility of motherhood alone.

My philosophy is to 'mother the mother' looking after you so you can look after your baby. I will provide practical support, showing you how to care for your baby, helping you to establish your confidence with breastfeeding or bottle feeding, helping to carry out the practical chores that still need to be done, such as looking after your other children, doing the laundry, preparing snacks and meals for you and your family, running errands, shopping etc.

Having this level of support means you can concentrate on resting and bonding with your baby.

I will listen to your concerns and provide a shoulder to cry on when you need it in order that you feel nurtured, supported and confident in your own ability to care for your baby.
